- Choose the domain name, people would usually use the name of their company as their domain name as well
- Try to avoid numbers, hyphen, or any special characters, use alphabets instead
- Secure / register your domain name sooner than later, because we never know someone out there is waiting to register the same domain name
- Choose the right domain extension, most people go for the dot com, or the dot com dot au, because the dot com domain names are actually commercial websites (the 'com' stands for 'commercial' )
- Your domain name should be easy to remember, easy to spell and pronounce
- Try to avoid more than 3 words domain names, i.e. yourCompanyName.com is okay, but YourWebsiteDomainName.com is obviously too long
